Already missing the Calgary Stampede midway? Well, Beakerhead is making sure that you don’t have to wait an entire year to get your adrenalin fix for fun and thrills. Beakerhead this September is bringing you Sustainival – the world’s first ‘green’ carnival – sponsored by Talisman Energy Inc. and Alliance Pipeline Ltd!
So come back to the Calgary Stampede Park to enjoy a midway with an environmental conscience.
From the Gravitron and Tilt-a-Whirl to the infamous Zipper, you are sure to have some fun while feeling good about being “green” – and perhaps even feel a bit fitter knowing that the vegetable oil that was used to fry up all those Calgary Stampede mini-donuts and corn dogs went into powering your ride.
Sustainival is a ‘green” carnival based using renewable energy forms like wind, solar and biofuel, to power the rides that young and old alike love to go on.
Come out to Beakerhead this September 11-15 to enjoy Sustainival – and much more – across Calgary.
Thursday, September 12 – Sunday, September 15 (operating hours below)
Location: Calgary Stampede Grounds.
Tickets (purchased online or at entrance):
$20 students ($55 for a four-day pass)
$25 adults ($65 for a four-day pass)
Children 3 and under are free
